going to buy the salvage 5.9 and 4.6 I hear the 5645mg is good servo for steering on 5.9 need good servos for brakes for both plus steering for 4.6 would the above work on both
 
I have an XL and I run it stock for now of course. I find the steering servo to be good enough for me but I'm sure others would disagree.

I have the Savöx 1256 on steering of my Sav X. Very strong quality servo. The original steering SF20 acts as thottle now.
 
I like the 985MG better because it has o-rings on the case halves, screws and output shaft to keep out water. It's a little faster and stronger than the 5645. I use them on my revo for steering/throttle, on my baja for throttle, on my savage for throttle. I have some other JR digital on my savage for steering that I picked up for a deal.

I've had many run aways due to wet servos... so I spend a little more and get one I trust. Been using these for quite a few years now.
