You can use the stock pipe but it will choke the picco(Also run a greater risk of blowing seals). You can use a THS 146B rear exit pipe which will require an adapter from Racer66 on this forum(about $20). For the biggest power boost you will need to install a 086 side exhaust. I run the THS 146B and it is crazy fast...
(The Picco has a small block exhaust port, so for any true BB exhaust you will need this adapter. It works great)

I will have to order a pipe in the near future.

I cannot find racer66 on here? Searched username and no luck? Does he fabricate his own adapter for these BB exhausts?

well i have the best luck in the world got the picco .26 maxx about 2 weeks ago and was tryen to tune it as i was breaken it in and only got about to tank and wouldnt realy run so took it to the hobbyshop and had the guy look at and try to help me figure it out still running way to rich would never get up past like 150 degrees so then he called picco and that guy never heard of the prob that it was having so i had to send them the motor to look at it come to find out the carb was mechine wrong lol wat great luck i have so hopefullyill have it back this week i can't wait

i too have a picco .26 maxx. i got it off ebay barely broken in for $125. couldnt pass that up. running the bb traxxas header with an adapter through the stock muffler. once it warms up and i get it tuned, its unreal!!. pulls wheelies constantly! I'm running a 14 clutchbell and 40 spurgear for now. the low end is insane.I've ripped the teeth off 2 traxxas spurs soo far.i out a rc sloutions rollcage on recently. that helps when it flips over backwards from too much throttle!! lol

what is the difference between .26 max and the red dot version?

the maxx uses the stock revo exhaust. the reddot is a big block ported exhaust and would need a bb exhaust setup. there is also more power in the reddot. i just have the maxx and its more than enough for my revo. it will pull wheelies across by whole driveway! the power is pretty insane.

ok cheers. yeah i just bought a maxx secondhand (three litres through it). still building revo up and can't wait to see how she goes!

you will love it. i keep mine around 240-250. it rides 2nd gear wheelies across my lawn! I'm still running a 40t spur and 14t clutchbell.the lowend is rediculous.

sounds sweet! yeah I've got a robinson racing hardened 40 spur and 16 clutchbell set on the way. then get the electrics and a coupla other bits sorted and she'll be a goer!

Just won another LRP Z28 on Ebay last night!!(Brand new) $120 shipped!! Couldnt beleive I won it for this price. Got the first one for $145 shipped. I am going to need to install one of these soon lol(Now that I will have

Mines geared up to 36/17 ATM. Have a 19t cb to go on but think I should try out a 40/15 setup before I go too far the other way

I've ran a few tanks through my new Red Dot and found myself raking a lot of stone out of my yard. I love it so far. I need to buy an exhaust and a roto start for it though. I am having a hard time searching for both.

Does anyone have any links for a roto start or exhaust types/model #s?? Even a hobby shop site that carries accessories for my picco would work?

The shops near me do not carry anything I need and just ask me for part numbers. Then they say they'll look into it and order them for me. I'm unfamiliar with what I need for this motor n what will fit. With that said, I do not want to order a few wrong things before I get the right one.

I've been searching ebay n googling. Not much pops up on ebay for me to choose from n google just gives me a bunch of threads from random forums? I've only been able to search from my iphone while at work, so maybe I am just lacking some extra effort or I give up too easy.

Any info for the newB is greatly appreciated again! Thanks in advance!!:D

Moral of the story; if it fits a 3.3, it will fit a Picco .26 Red Dot . . .

I have 36/17 in ATM - seems to fire though first just fine . . .so I'm about to try 34/19 in mine! (Yep - 36T Intergy Steel)

My mate and I do a lot of high speed car park running/on road circuit racing - together with a buku clutch I hope to be able to use the taller gearing.

Offroad I reckon the 36/17 goes ok.

You can't find me because it's Racer 1966 :D I do still make and sell the adapters. If anyone needs one,buy from me here and save a couple of $$. The ones on eBay are mine too,the price is higher due to all of the fees there :\

I am also about to have available Revo BB engine mounts similar to the New Era style. Withe everything I have going on this week,it'll probably be late next week before I can finish some up.
