Hey guys,

I'm renovating my Savage now, and I really want to change my gearing. The gearing I have now, I believe, is 49Spur and 16CB. I'm going for something between torque and speed. Not too much speed, since I have the 3-speed tranny, so I can't do wheelies =(. My engine is a Picco .26. Any suggestions?

That's HELLA torque! Hahah, I won't need that much, I don't even think it's possible to do that for the Savage 25 or any other Savage.

with titanium drive shafts anything is possible! I know they make a 66 tooth spur for the E savage I don't know if it would fit urs or not, but you can never have too much torque, just use it for tractor pulls.

I don't do tractor pulls. I like to crawl up little kid slides :]. And runover anybody sliding down.

You have a picco 26 with 49Spur and 16CB geering and 3 speed but can't do wheelies?

My OS21RG I have in mine at the moment with a 3 speed and HB extended chassis, it will almost pull a wheelie running 46/16. I plan on changing it to 49/16 with my XTM24.7 to help it out a bit.

Or is it a weird 3-speed thing that's making you not able to do wheelies?

I was hoping for wheelies with the XTM... now your making me think otherwise! Guess I could always go to 52/16... if it will fit. ;)

I have the Robinson Racing 51/14 combo in mine with the 3 speed and even with the Savage XL chassis I can do wheelies.
