I'll be using fluorescent paints on my kraken trophy truck build , anybody got some good info on paints and backings ? Pictures would be cool to see

I use Duratrax paints and they do extremely well for me, and when I say "coat" below it means 1 color with 3-4 light passes being careful not to spray too much to avoid runs.

1st coat is Orange:

2nd coat is White backer over orange:

3rd coat is Yellow:

4th coat is White backer over yellow:

5th coat is Black for the stripes:

Most importantly, I use RC Body Armor to reinforce the weak areas of the body:

Final step is to apply Dragon Skin backed with E600 glue:

Before I used Body Armor + Dragon Skin + E6000 I might get 2-3 months out of body but now they last 1-2 years!

I recently started wearing a matching shirt for my paint scheme too :)

Mike Garrison FTMFW! 🍻🤘

For airbrush/water based acrylic, Createx Fluorescents/Wicked Fluorescents are working well for me.
