What Clutch Bearings do you guys run i have been having bad luck.

has any one herd of "Advix" bearings or something like that?

Thanks,

-Ice

Mugen or kyosho if you can find em anywhere....
we get these ones called black magic but I don't know who makes em.....I'm sourcing some now and I'll probably be seeing if anyone wants to go in on a bulk buy when I find em.....they rock...I normally get 1 to 2 days from a set.....these I've been getting 4-6 days on a set.....that's running about 1/2 gallon a day on them though....

your talking about avid. They are pretty goodm just make sure to blow the grease out before you use them.

Yes! avid! thats what its was..ok so just make shure that they are nice and clean?

On their web site they have a "how to" to clean the grease out. Its very easy and takes about 2 min to clean and put back together.

Ca someone post a link to the bearings?
Are they rubber sheilded?

also, do you have a site for those black magic bearings?

jesus, those boca berings are pricy!...those avid's are nice and cheap but i am worried about the quality, dose anyone have any first-had experiance?

I've been useing avid's for about a year now in my entire car. (777). They are without a doubt the best deal going. I change clutch bearings about every gallon. And that is just because they are only a buck. They normally still feel great after a gallon.

I"ve had em through out the car now for about 2 gallons and love em.

I will never buy any other bearing out there.

and yes I'm useing all rubber sheilded stuff.

how's that for a satisfied customer?

Brandon

cool, so for your clutch bearnings you use the ones with both sides having rubbersealed or the ones with one side sealed and the other not? I have just herd good things about the 1/2 rubber sealed ones.

Thanks,

-Ice

I havn't gotten to try the revolution bearings yet. I've only used the full rubber sealed ones.

alright, also do you get 2 for a buck or 1?

alright, thats what i thought...thanks for your help untchbl. Does any1 know how many of each size bearings i need to totally replace my stock set for the mayhem? I looked at the manual and it is wrong...it says there are only ten bearings in the whole buggy and i can think of at least 12...thanks,

www.vxb.com

Anyone try these? They have 8x16x5 in metal, rubber and teflon shields.

They sure as hell are cheaper than boca! $200+ for BEARINGS, that better be like ABEC- 9,253,842's or something. I can't imagine how someone (even a factory driver) could justify that expense.

I personally don't see how anyone could consider buying anything other then avid's
