RC Driving Style
Hi, so i've been out of the hobby for about 2 years, but just recently I've been getting into it. I rebuilt my revo and replaced the throttle servo which spins the opposite direction of the old one and I forgot to reset the failsafe, therefore it drove, fullspeed, into a log. So... i get to rebuild again! the chassis is shot and the front bulkhead exploded and I discovered a busted engine mount which i'm guessing is from an old accident. Is there anything else that is likely broken that I just can't see?
also, is there anything else i should do after letting the truck sit for 2 years? I'm putting new oil in the shocks, should i also put fresh fluid in the diffs? and reccomendations? And where is a good spot to get a 2.5 chassis? I use the truck only for bashing and I find the 2.5 chassis more fun. Thank you in advance

Go to Ebay and type in revo 2.5 and everthing for that modle shuld pop up its the cheapest place for parts you can get the bulk heads for abut 12 bucks both sets front and back i go on there and get extra parts and stock up.

You will probably want to go with a Revo 3.3 chassis not the 2.5 version.

One more reason why you NEVER start an RC car until you have physically and visibly checked your controls.
Good luck with the repairs. Be thankful it didn't go out into traffic.

Yea, I felt like a dumb-ass as soon as i heard the engine go full throttle without my assistance. But oh well, poop happens.

Oh ya i learned my lesson on checking those things with my sled, started it up took of full throttle(must have been frozen) and when i did the big dive for it i hit the reverse button and the motor was still cold and stalled.Would have had a 40ft run into a concrete wall. So no with all my toys rc, sled, wheeler everything i make sure its working correctly before i start it up.
