Bending Throttle Lever on AE .15 engine

Hi. I have an rc10 GT RTR racing truck. Recently after it runs a few minutes the throttle doesn't open ...the throttle lever part # 29044 on the AE .15 engine bends out instead of turning and opening the carb. Is this common? I don't think I'm running too hot. Is there a higher grade throttle lever out there? Pease advise! I'm very new to this ! I love this stuff by the way!

i had the same problem i change the ball end and change it to the inside made it line up a lot better latter curtis

thanks...i will try that but i'm not sure i'll have enough clearance. Do you have the same model truck? RC10 GT? Are there replacements out there made of stronger material?
