My Savage still rocks. Even though I have done it injustice by buying a couple of heli's. Man those things are addictive. Anyway I plan on doing a XL conversion after hunting season. Is there anything I need to be looking out for when I start.

Thanks Ray

Buy BP Diffs and dont worry about the XL stub axles that give you a wider stance.

10-4. I've already done bp diff upgrade, had no choice.lol. Thanks for the input. I thought doing the wider stance would help with cornering, but I guess the length advantage would help with that also.

I like the wider stance myself. I know most will disagree about the way HPI did it by using longer axel stubs and aluminum spacers. But it's simple and effective.
