RC Driving Style
I finally got the rear diff bearings that I blew a while ago. I have decided to do maintenance on all the rearend bearings. Got the seals off and soaking everything in WD 40. Curious as to what you guys might think is a good grease/lube to put on these prior to re-install. Going to reassemble tomorrow 4/3 hopefully. Getting the beast ready to go to Mexico there are some great 1/8 scale sand dunes down there!!
 
I just redid a BUNCH of mine too. I got my hands on this lube called LPS. It is a DRY lube, but comes in a spray can. Goes on wet but dries up AWESOME! Best stuff I've ever used.

I dont know where to find it retail as I bought it at the track last weekend.

I always used Trinity bearring oil. Red in color and comes in a bottle with a needle tip. Always worked great for me.

Is this a dry based silicone lube? If it is, I have a lot of it floating around the house. I use it on my RC's as well as the auto and the home. The stuff works great and does'nt attract dirt and dust like wet oils or grease. There are many companies that make this stuff, including 3M. I get mine at Homies or the local hardware store.
 
This is the stuff I use right here

I pick it up for 6$ a can at the track. Its AMAZING how well it works.

And yes, it doesn't attract dirt which is where the real sex appeal came in for me. I just redid all the bearrings, even in the diffs and driveline on my TC3 and you can not only see it, but feel and hear the difference.

The most effective test I did on this stuff was on my 2 wheel drive XXX-NT. I pull ONE of the front tires, cleaned the bearring and lubed it with the LPS. When done, I did a simple spin test. I kid you not when I tell you that the bearrings I did spun MINUTES longer than the one that wasn't done.
