anybody know of a 14mm or a 17mm beadlock out there?

Yep.. Maximizer makes 14mm and 17mm beadlocks . I have sets of both and they have served me very well . http://www.maximizerproducts.com/maxstore/stores/1/Wheels_C32.cfm

those are monster truck size from what i saw i need them in a 2.2 size for a slayer

they are in a 12mm hex from what i have saw from there website

No a Slayer is 14mm

I think you can use the 12mm hexes off of the Slash & you would have many wheels to choose from.................

The backside of the wheel is like 2.8 rim I.D.

Oh yea, I had forgotten about the Revo arms & carriers,There may not be any beadlocks to fit then. Unless you do go with the monster truck size,of course.

they make nice slip on hex adapters to go from 12-14mm if you find some 12mm wheels you really like. I believe the proliune 8 shooters are 14mm and they hold a sick bead

The problem any 2.2 wheel will have is clearing the arms & carriers on the Slayer. That's why the stock wheels have a larger inner wheel

i never thought about clearing the axle carriers dang i know the 1/8 scale tires and rims i am running clear them damn i may not get to bash it halloween at the dunes after all now guess i am stuck playing with my savage there i was really hpoing to take the slayer
