RC Driving Style
When i put my maximizer X-75 beadlocks together i realized there were no holes drilled in the wheel to let air/water out of the tire. Do i have to drill them?
 
Yes I have that too. It says you can drill some but I never did.
 
Cool. I will be racing though so i might drill them.

P.S Jon whats the scoop on your stuff?
 
I have the same rims. There are no holes in them, and if you read the instructions, it says they are like that so water and dirt doesn't get in...
 
I suppose that they are probably expecting you to just glue the tires and not get any dirt/water in the wheels in the first place...just a guess.
 
put holes in your tires instead, that way you dont ruin your nice wheels and have the option to not have ventilated wheels if you should ever so desire.

Aluminum beadlocks with zero offset by maximizer with Losi Zombie Maxxes. The little screws around the face secure the faceplate to a flanged plastic tube which squeezes two retention rings. Your tire bead effectively gets squeezed between the faceplate/tube and the retention rings and is locked into place.

I didn't drill my first set of beadlocks and they ran fine. My second set I have drilled and they have a slightly softer feel to them. The tires ballon a little easier when you drill them.
