I charge my batterys to full charge and then I will come back a day later and they will be totally drained? Anyone know whats going on?

I've got 8 AA 2300 batterys in my M11. One thing about the M11 is I'm having a hard time figuring out how to be able to leave the battery pack in the M11 while it charges, is this possible?

I also have the M11, and I don't see an outside charging jack.
I still have the alkalines in mine, but will go for the NiMH pack soon.
What type of batts do you have in there? Nicads, NiMH?

NiMH. They are almost brand new. The M11 battery holder is so damn hard to get out that I have to take all of the batterys out so I can get a good grip on it. I'm probably going to be building a pack for this reason.

SuperBrain960. I am charging at 0.5 amps. I am charging them all at once in the holder. What happens most of the time is that the charger will false peak only with these batterys ( I can charge my receiver pack fine ). It was false peaking so much last week I had to miss a qualifier, and when they do charge, the next morning I will check the battery and it would be totally drained while not even connected to anything.

Here are the batteries I am using http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info.php/cPath/1_221_224/products_id/2361

Odd. I'm thinking you might have a bad one in the crowd draining the rest. Try charging them one at a time and checking the readings on each.

Checked the readings on each and found one that didn't have a charge. I charged them all at once and took that same one out and it still has no charge. Guess I need a new battery.

Thanks

I charged them with the bad one removed. I charged 4 at a time in another pack since I couldn't charge the 7 in the 8 slot battery pack unless I closed the circuit which I didn't feel like doing.

Anyways, I got around 5.85v for each at full charge. When I woke up this morning they were at around 5.60v. Are they supposed to drain like this?

That's not much loss for a battery hot off the charger.
How long have you had them, and how many times do you think they've been charged?

when building a AA pack, what is the best way to connect them? It seems I can only find battery bars for the Sub-C batterys.
