does the revo 2.5R come with rechargable battery packs or do you have to put alkaline AA batteries in it? i know for the EZ start it does. i was just wondering about the truck Rx and Tx. do they come with rechageables?

No batteries included. In the easy start you need to purchase a rechargeable pack (always available at the LHS) and for the car and radio you can use alkalines for starters, but you'll want to upgrade to NiMH in both.

i have some 2500mAH Ni-MH rechargable batteries that i bought for my on road. are those good enough for my revo?

HOLD ON!! BACK UP!. the revo comes with a rechargable reciever back and charger. you will only need batteries for the transmitter. and a crappy 7.2 volt stick pack for the starter wand

ill just have to wait till she comes in the mail. kinda confuesed with all these numbers and stuff. its hard to know what your talking about without it sitting here in front of me. ill get back to this thread later when i know what the hell I'm talking about lol sorry

He said those were batteries, not packs. Rechargeable batteries will work with the Tx and the car, but I think it would be a hassle to charge 12 batteries using 1 charger, my guess would be that it is a 4 battery charger. So if it takes about 15 minutes to charge 4 of them, it would take 45 minutes to charge all of them. Then the battery pack for your rotor start comes in, but you can charge that at the same time. I would just buy a hump pack for the car and use the rechargeables on the Tx.

The truck comes with a rechargeable 6-cell nimh battery pack for the receiver pre-installed. It even comes with a charger for it. You will see the charging port on the underside of the receiver box. As a bonus, I also sent the pack from my other Revo so you have 2 receiver packs.

You will need a stick 6-cell pack for the starter wand with a Tamiya style connector.

The transmitter is coming with 8 alkaline's installed. Who knows how long they will last since I am not sure when they were installed.

great so the only thing i need is a 6 cell battery pack? thats the only thing i have to get to have this up and running when it comes?
