How many cells would I need to replace a 4 cell AA pack? 5?

i would use a 5cell hump pack.

5 cell flat pack, the cells are 2/3A

4 if alkaline 1.5v, 5 if 1.25v rechargable.

Its going to be in a ultra lx one reciever box. For those of you who have one you would know what i'm talking about with the confined space. As for re arranging there isn't really a posability.

Typically, reciever packs (5 cell nimh) come in one of two configurations. Either 2-over-3, or flat. 90% of the time, buggies take the 2-over-3 configuration, where a 4AA holder used to reside.

as heartbreaks last post really. I don't know of a single buggy that won't take a hump pack RX battery (except the hyper 7 series of course)
