I don't think legitamate questions will ever be ignored. You might not get the answer phrased in a way to cushion softer sensibilities, but you'll still probably get an answer. If you don't know, and can't find it...ask if your being dumb someone will let you know....and still probably answer...lol.
As far as specific model questions, chances are you are not trying to do anything that someone here hasn't already done but sometimes it might take a while for the holder of that specific info to reply. In the mean time, don't forget the manufacturer. I have not found one so far that does not have a customer service email contact and someone standing by who gets paid to answer your model specific questions. I'm not saying don't post here, just back it up with an email to the manufacturer as well and if you get an answer to your question, post it. Maybe someone else needs the same info and can reference your post.
