I have two reedy wolf pack 3600mah 6 cell battery packs that I use for my e-maxx. I've had them since last july and they seem to be heating up a little more than usual. It seems like only two cells are hotter than the rest and my run times change alot about every two times I run them. Also They are false peaking more than usual and seem to start out slower then have a power blast, then slow down to normal running action while I drive my maxx.
I run my maxx in water usually whenever it rains and theirs no rust on the cells and they seem to have good exterior condition.
I want to take the packs apart and discharge each cell individualy then reassemble the packs in sxs form. I use a dynamite twin peak ac/dc charger.
These are the batts I use- http://67.199.85.166/main/productdet...ory=5005.xxxxx
Questions-
-I dont know really how your supposto take apart battery packs. Is there a certain way to take them apart without damaging the cells.
-Is this ok to do?
-What method should I use to discharge the batteries. Can I hook up a motor or a light bulb?
-If so, what voltage per cell should the cells be at after discharging.
Any help is gladly appreicated.
