I have a nimh 2300mah reciever pack for my T-maxx and a 1700 mah nicad pack for my ezstart. Are there any smart/quick chargers out there that can handle charging both types of batteries? Does radio shack of these type of chargers????? The chargers that I have now take too dang long to charge up. My ez start battery charger takes 6 hours and the reciever pack charger takes 24 hours.

Although I can't give you a list of exact models, there are plenty out there that will work. I use an MRC SuperBrain 959 peak detection charger to handle mine and it works fine. I'd say any NiCd/NiMH capable peak detection charger with adjustable charge rate should work witout a problem. Look specifically at hobby shops or online hobby shops like Tower Hobbies for them.

That should work, but remember, you get what you pay for when it comes to electronics. Try to find one that has a bit more options as to charge rate.

In my T-Maxx I have installed the hump pack from Traxxas and added their charge plug. I can then charge my receiver pack with my Revo charger, takes about 30 minutes.

I charge my EZ Start with a $50.00 charger that allows me to chose the amps. Since my EZ Start battery pack is the same rating as yours, I usually set it for 3 amps and it will take about 1-2 hours. I have three of these packs and just rotate them out as needed.
