Bashing Monday

Sky and I are going bashing this Monday. I'm not sure on a specific location or the time but it will be between Newport News and VA Beach. If anyone want to join let either of us know.

I talked with Sky and we are looking at a tentative place as the track on Norfolk Naval Base and a time of 1:00pm. He's going to check the track tomorrow to see if it looks usable since we've had some rain it might be too muddy for trucks but not for submarines. I'll update as soon as we know.

If you weren't 2000 miles away, I'd take the day off. Here in IL, there's to much damn snow everywhere to drive. I havn't driven in almost a month.

Jonesing something fierce.

By the time I drive again, the whole truck is going to be new. New shocks, new tires, new rims, new clutch, new shock towers, new stand, new bumpers... I don't think I can afford another month sitting at idle. I just bought a full set of titanium universals from HongKong today... this is killing me.

El, what kind of camera do you guys use? Is it straight digital or do you have a converter to plug it in to a pc to create vids?

Supposedly it's a digital tape. You have to datalink it to the computer and upload the video onto your pc then edit accordingly. I would prefer to have a 100% straight digital.

I run a digital camera (both video and stills). Both will be at the track tomorrow. Should be interesting with the mix of freezing rain and snow that we are seeing now.

Dress warmly, bring lots of nitro to burn, be ready to rock and roll in the snow, slush, ice or whatever the weather leaves us.

I think so, I'm not a squid but I know I can get you onto and Army base. I don't think the squids would that much more difficult, well wait, they're squids they were born difficult. Nothing worse than a squid aside from maybe a jarhead...
