I'm in the market for some new tires for my Slayer. I finally destroyed the stockers and I need a new set for bashing. I have a set of Proline SC Caliber tires, but those are for the dirt track I run at. Any suggestions for a decent set of bashing tires? I run mostly off-road in grass and dirt, but also a little on pavement

Any thoughts in converting to 17mm hubs? Then you can run 1/8 buggy tires/wheels. Quite a few variations of tread and compounds when you running 17mm hubs.

I run 17mm hubs on my jato and revo (used to be a slayer). I liked how a set of badland buggy tires hooked up in the grass and dirt on both rigs. They wear down quick on pavement though.

Or you can go cheaper and get tires from ebay already mounted that are knock offs of prolines.

Or super cheap:

How tall are the buggy tires? I don't want to make too many mods to the body. It's in pretty sorry condition after almost a year of running it

So, around 4.5 inches tall.
