Hey in my Basecamp post I mentioned that we broke the axle.
I wanted to originally swap it out for a nice aluminum set. But I re gently had to get a vehicle and blah blah blah now pri e is a major factor as I have too many projects going at once.
New plan is to just order a new factory axle housing for 10 bucks and get a bow house panhandle brace for under 20.

Unless......
I have the rock bouncer just chilling cause it needs tires and wheels.
It has a set of larger straight axles on it a set of https://www.redcatracing.com/products/rer13033?variant=32456952152154
Redcat 247 axles
https://www.redcatracing.com/products/rer13033?variant=32456952152154
They are wider but what else would I need to check to see if they would fit?
Is it length of axles? Whether or not the links line up?
Or could I just throw the axle on and rock a new look?

I say if it will bolt up then I say do it. However wide and long it is is where the tire placement would be.

A few minutes with some hex drivers should get you the answer :)
Potential clearance issues going to servo on axle.
Driveshafts would need to bolt up somehow.
Rock bouncer is 4 link front, basecamp looks like 3 link with panhard bar. So a mount for the fourth bar would need to be sorted.
Who know what else might come up. Give it a shot!

my impatient butt didnt get a reply soon enough so I'm trying now actually lol

this is why i asked first, (then starteed anyways) i didnt even think about links or driveshafts, and if it would fit, i was just in the mind of h
hey, you HAVE an axle you're not using, see if it will work, these guys on the forums on net make toys into rc's and swap everythings out for other stuff add wheels and axles, I'm just trying to learn how to figure out stuff and make stuff work without waiting for parts
but looking at it i dont really think it would, but i was hoping someone would be able to point me in the direction of learning what it takes to determine these things, like you said , so my post was a complete success. thanks bro

I like to wait until I have enough parts spread out from enough donors, so I can't remember what went where. Then when I realize it won't work, and I can't figure out how to put everything back together. Then I buy a new rig. 🤣
