So, it's pouring down outside, the temps so low ya toes freeze as you fill your fuel tank.. Your nose is running to weather forecast is terrible..
And the thought of not racing for possibly days on end is depressing..

Solution.... Download this great Virtual r/c racing game... you can race 1/8th scale 1/10 scale and all for free.. Even online racing against other racers..

http://www.virtualrc.com/

If you want you can even buy a usb adapter hook up a reciever to it and use your standard tramistter to control the racing... Oh boy

Have fun, yet more ways to ignore the nagging, whining and asking for money for her indoors....

I have VirtualRC since it came out,its akiller racing simulator.I would not call this a game at all.

With a speedy PC you can enjoy butter smooth graphics in high rez and the realism is quite impressive, when using the USB adaper and a RC controller.

I have Virtaul RC,RealRace and RealFlight G3. Damn since I have these I do not even touch my F.E.A.R,no mopre late night Quake 3 frag fests.

i downloading it now. about how much is an adapter and where can i get one.

The e-shop does not seem to work now !? But here from the site...

"Control VIRTUAL RC RACING with your own transmitter using the unique VRC-2 USB adaptor. It is plug-and-play, and with 16 bit resolution it gives you more precise control than the common input devices on the market. The VRC-2 USB adaptor is available from the eShop for $29.95 (postage and handling not included). The VRC-2 adaptor is shipped by EMS Speed Post service from Hong Kong, registered and with tracking service. The VRC-2 USB adaptor is also available from an exclusive network of VRC dealers, check out the Dealer option in the menu to find a VRC dealer near you."

for some reason it says I'm not connected to the internet and wont let me register to race.

Ahhh here we go again. This was brought up some time ago when that link was posted here in the past. Quite a few of us, myself included had a lot of problems trying to get that game to work. I finally ended up just deleting it from my system, and won't bother with it anymore.
