So back story:
Back in the day, before popo status, we used to go out to the Mississippi River Levee to have bon fires. Just a bunch of us would go out and just hang out, burn stuff, and have a few brewski's. Well, i decided to get a few of the old crew back together. So I tried to get out there a little early to go start collecting wood, and forgot exactly where the spot was, so i had to travel down the backside of the levee. (it had been raining alot lately) So for the first time in a while i actually had to put my truck into 4wd. I found the spot and was almost to it, when my front driver's side tire dissapeared....... Literally. A tree had fallen and the hole it left from the roots had filled with a thin layer of mud, and fit my tire perfectly. Luckly my brother in his f-350 was just down the road at a buddy of his house to pull me out. Anything smaller than that wouldnt have been able to pull my 10,000 monster out.

I thought you arrested people for playing with their stick in public in Louisiana. At least your scaler didn't get dirty. If it had, Rolex would have a heart attack.

Yea. that was BAD. Had to drive bout 20mph for like 20 min to clear enough. Today got it up to bout 50 on hwy to go to pick up the pressure washer...... started shaking so bad i had to bring it back to bout 30. Pulled about 50lbs of mud from the front and rear of that wheel and brake. Finally got it "clean" though.

Birthday priorities...

1. Mud for truck (check)
2. Mud for turtle....

3. Spend 4 hours pressure-washing truck. (check)

2 words...

I got hung up last year fishing. 'Ol lady gonna push a 5 or 6 thousand pound truck out...
About the time her and the kid got out to push, I remembered I had it in 4-wheel low.

She was sorta in the wrong spot if she was planning to stay clean...

Tell ya what bro. In the 20 some years we have been together she has never cussed me that bad. :hehe:

Oh yeah. Kid was wearing a Chevy shirt...
I got him pretty good too.

I have seen some mud like that before...buddy buried his 4x4 f150 in a pond being dug. We were drinking and assing around and He hit some wet red clay and it just sunk. We had two truckes hooked to him trying to pull him out. No dice; we did snap a couple 20K chains though. It ended up we just needed one thing to get him out.....D6c Caterpillar bulldozer sure did the trick. My dad has never let us live that one down.

it wasn't stuck that bad, just that hole in the front. it was pulling through the mud, just not the hole with the steep sides.
