Hey all I'm jsut finishing up my savage build, i will have pics tomorow or monday, its rainin here and the camera sucks a$$. Just wanted to knowhow thw plastic skid plates go on i have them on but the dont seem right, maybe if some one could get a pic up of how they should be installed that would be great. all i got to do is somehow mount the gas tank and install the linkage and wait for a non rainy day, I can't wait to get the pics up cuz its awesome. jumbo maxx claw dawgs, integy piggy back shocks, 4 spider mode, jsut all around awesomeness. Yall might get a pic or 2 today if your lucky.

Hell... I'd be happy for temps warm enough for rain... todays high is 4 degrees.

What doesn't seem right about your skids? They are pretty straightforward as far as installation goes.

-14 here today. Thats without the wind chill. I could go for a lil rain too..lol..

What savage ya building? Ya redoing one or did ya get a kit?

I have 2 r/c Solutions cages but not sure if they are gonna fit with the lst shicks, if you have any questions lmk, i love the wheels, their really wide and its really high off the ground. I got the wheels and tires from R/C Planet and they are great guys, i origionally ordered the white wheels but they didnt have them in stock so they gave me the syllavan wheels insted for the price of the white ones. The Piggy Back shocks are/ seem to be great, had to buy some better o rings for the pigy back part because they were leaking like no tomorow, but i like them fine. The Shock mounts are great their from kudos, and their flawless, he's also another great guy to deal with. I'm mounting this gas tank somewhere so well see how that goes, its 120cc http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXFU35&P=7 . Its so wide i dont think it will flip that easy, or i hope not, its bigger than it looks in those pics its huge. Its 18'' wide 19'' long and 4'' tall from the ground to the bottom of the skid plate.

Well i was gonna try and use it just cuz if it flips over and all that but i didnt want to hasle with all if it so i took some purple power to the tank that came with it and mounted it back up, jsut need to know how long i need to make my fuel line and pressure line, or if the length of them soesnt matter than ill jsut cut them to what ever length, please lmk tho. Well i didnt buy any servo for the wheels however I'm gonna be getting this one as soon as i can http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXUZ81&P=ML lmk waht yall think

O and idk if any one would know but do you think a 1/5 scale body or something like that would fit on here the shocks are so mig not even a hummer body fits with out rubbing, jsut might have to run her nakid, lol darn piggybacks gettin in the way. o well i like it, hope it clears up tomorow, it has been really warm here, dont have to wear a jacket at all the past couple of weeks, great weather thats what i love about the south.

Ok thanks, just needin some feedback do you think i have it listed to high in the f/s forum? i think its perfect cuz of all the accessories you get you basicly get 2 trucks, or you could make 2 if you wanted to.

I think it's tough selling a nice savage these days... especially with everyone wanting truggies and revo's... I have a savage, truggy (sort of) and a revo... so I'm not really in need of anything.

If you can, just let it sit, kill the thread and wait until spring, then repost.

It's the same with with motorcycles. People scour the papers/internet for a deal during the winter because sellers are tired of walking around it in their garage. But in the summer, buyers are willing to pay closer to what it's worth... but then again, sellers are more inclined to keep it. Kind of a catch 22.

Ok, thanks for the advice, i think ill give it another try, then when i need the money later ill decide, or get a job. Thanks for all your great advice, i really appricieate it.
