Me and my friend were out today at the park. He just got a new savage 4.6 on saturday. We did the break in and all went well he came the next day we noticed the servo gears were all busted. he upgraded to a new 100 buck servo and we were good. we went out and hit each other and his freaken arm snapped. Not the whole arm but the top part of iti thin it called the upper a arm!!. Not sure the term.. So now he needss to get it fixed. I'm not pro enough to fit that kinda thing if someone can help us out and post a diagram on how to get the top part of the arm out and replaced. WOW saturadya and spent almost 200 bucks on it! Have had mine for 3 months never replaced anything!
Lol thanks guys

It's a very simple process. Take off the bumper, then remove the C-clip (plastic) behind the shock tower that holds the bumper support for that side, pull out that bumper support, then pull out the pin that goes through the upper A-arm (from the front). Disconnect the other end from the steering block and reverse the procedure.

Ok... ill try it but does anyone have diagrams? lol sorry rolex i get what u mean but not really!!!
Lol i got everything like take off the bumber is by like unscrewing the screws on the bottom like where the skid plate is then the 2 c clips then the whole thing comes off right? Then i dont get it form there

the savvy x 4.6 u only have to move the bumper arm? it slides to the side which lets you just pull the pin that holds the arm out... is the 4.6 so different?

hey ya my bad its the X4.6

so how would i go about doing it?

now wat I'm worried about is the hobby shop not carrying the arm

don't get aluminium ones... get adjustable plastic ones. $25 delivered a pair.

Negative camber FTW

You're right, Gordz, the bumper arm just turns to the side, leaving access to the pin. I forgot about that.
You won't have to remove the clip, just the front bumper.

GOT IT THANKS. I went and got the par the had it in stock!! It took 2mins! i was soo supired. The only thing now is that i got the steering reversed when i chaged my servo i put it on wrong. is there a way of changing it to normal instead of having to take it all apart agian?

perfect thanks all i just got it working. it was the reverse switch! THANKS ALL
HAPPY BASHING
Edit: except rolex. happy dusting:)
