I just wondered if anyone else has back flipped thier buggy yet I backflipped my Lightning2 4 times in a row today, Ill upload the footage of it if anyones interested.
Cheers ANdy

You use the gyroscopic affect of the wheels in motion to either create a back flip or a front flip.

When you get off the ground and keep the throttle at WOT, the RC will tend to nose up and over for a back flip.

When you get off the ground and apply the brakes, the RC will tend to nose down...and if you have gotten enough air beneath the RC and have enough forward momentum...it will complete a front flip.

Lightning1, take a look in the video forum. There is lots of footage on back flips in there. Get yours posted there so we can check it out.

hell I tried it . could not get the full rotation! just yet . But I am now a professinol wing breaker ! I think I need to make my jump bigger! lol

Maybe you should try getting more speed and increase the angle of ascent and probably lower the landing area.

I have done it with a buggy, a Cybermaxx and a Mammoth, all 4-wd. It is very hard to do with a 2 wd. The size and wieght of the tires is a big factor, the heavier they are the easier to flip. The mammoth has huge tires and I actually double flipped it with ease, and even had to brake to prevent a 2.5. I just roll up to the jump at about half throttle, then hold it pinned from the base of the ramp until it rotates around. Try to let off the gas before it hits to reduce shock on the drivetrain. You don't want to be at full speed when you hit the jump because you need to further accelerate the tires to rotate the car.
