hey has anyones axial .28 spec 1s poop out after half a gallon, I'm pretty sure its just my glow plug but as soon as i give it gas it cuts out even with the heater in.
well heres the deal though its been half a gallon, a professional break in, and tune, and I've been into this hobby for about 6 years.
and it is tuned but the minute i take my glowplug igniter out it dies?

would anyone say this is my glowplug?
even though when i take out the plug and check it it ignites!

lmk
thanks

If it quits as soon as you pull the igniter, it's usually a sign of it running too rich. That would also account for it quitting at throttle.
Glow plugs routinely fail during or just after break in. Does it glow red, or bright yellow. Recharge your glow starter battery.

print out the .pdf and keep it for future reference.

no I've ran half a gallon, I'm done with break in, and my heater battery is 2500 mah lithium and it was recharged about 3 uses ago, and my car is tuned right, I'm positive

would you say engine or glow plug

also my glowplug glows on the light to medium orange side.

thanks for your help all

Could be glow plug... but I'm not a fan of the axial 28. Mine gives me poor power and high temps soon after the 1 gallon mark. Tried lots of things to fix it (sealing it with RTV, checking all needles/o-rings for damage, replacing main bearings, sending it to axial...). Now it's in a drawer collecting dust. Still look shiny new inside and has incredible compression. Just runs like poo compared to my other "less powerful" engines. Even my old tired OS 21RG has more getty up.

I guess for $100... you get what you pay for.

well I'm not very concerned about the engine, i just want to know what the problem is this time!!! lol
when this engine starts to give me sh*t i got my lrp z.28 spec 3 waitin in the box in my drawer!!!

lol

well guys thanks for your help i guess its most likely the glow plug!
and after a gallon possibly the engine!

thanks
