SPEC 1S sorry

what do you guys think of this motor for my revo and is it compatable with the traxxas BB kit?

Only with a bumpstart backplate and 125 dollar bump box.
RB523 kit is the best deal going IMO. I have drooled all over one of em" at my hobby shop. It is a very high quality mill. Still have yet to see one in action though....
It is 10X the quality of an Axial. Axials are decent motors. I have two for my Muggy. One sucks, one's great. Their customer service sucks too, I know firsthand.
The Axial will be slower than your 3.3 it has more bottom end torque but that is it. The 3.3 revs a lot higher than the Axial for more top end speed.

have you thought about the picco .26max? it is pretty much a direct drop in, and has alot more power than the stock 3.3. I've been running one for a year now,and really haven't had any trouble.

yeah was thinging about a picco but was told they are hard to tune

what do i need to throw the picco in?

How's the powerband on the Picco? I have heard they are violent. Piccos are known for great quality.
Seems like the stock Revo exhaust would not be enough for the .26?
The Rb comes with a good exhaust, that's one of the reasons i am leaning towards it.
I could be swayed though. Tell us more please.

basically you need the bbc kit, and Scrogg is right, the stock pipe isn't enough for the picco. I run a side pipe from a hyper buggy, but I know guys who run trinity pipes too. As for the power band, it's not that bad. you will need to adjust your shift point, and maybe your slipper. If u go with the picco,I strongly suggest a hardened steel spur/bell gear combo.

you will need the bbc, and Scrogg is right, the stock pipe isn't enough.I run a side pipe off of a hyper buggy, also I recommend a hardened steel spur/bell gear combo. I buddy of mine just got a buku pipe for his savage, and he said it really woke it up. this may be a option as well. the web site is bukupower.com

ok cool thanks i will look into that i have heard loads about the picco but more power is gonna cost my drivetrain some ups as well
