My bargain T Maxx is a runner (--)
After waiting for so long for all the parts to arrive, then blowing the little end of the rod on its first run, breaking the engine in on an extended lunch break (thanks Boss
) today I finally did some actual, real life bashing with my T-maxx.......................and broke it again
One of the cheap shocks that I got dropped to bits while I was charging around in a quarry with my bud and his Revo. I was having such a blast, that I decided to carry on with just one stock shock working on the rear offside. Turns out that the shock couldnt really handle the pressure by itself and eventually popped its load all over the rear bulkhead.
Not to be discouraged, I rushed home and rebuilt the shock, replaced the nackered cheapy job and went out again to a sand quarry about 2 minutes from my home
The tune is "ok" I think, running at around 220 at the plug, but I'm buggered if I can get it to shift into 2nd. I've tried adjusting the 2nd gear point, and leaned out the LSN but to no avail. Any tips would be appreciated.
I'll try and get some video as soon as I can, but I'm away with the the Mrs and kids this weekend, so prolly wont get none until next week.
Its been a long haul for my Bargain, but its been worth it just for today's grin factor alone. I feel this is just the beginning..........
