Well we all knew it was coming. Traxxas has one of their best RC's ever in the slash, regardless of if it does for them what the T-Maxx did, it's one hell of a truck, it's as Durable as a Savage, and it's cheap. Associated and Jammin both sponsor CORR style off road racing stucks. Associated sponsors the Red Bull Pro 2 truck. We all figured that since they sponsor the races, traxxas is not running slash commercials on NBC and enjoying great success, there would be an AE CORR style truck to be released. Well Associated has been teasing up with teaser shots, and I think they're getting ready to release some information soon on their truck. A lot of people are hoping that it will be 4WD based on the B44 platform, others are speculating 2 WD on the B4/T4 platform. We can only wait and see, but there is a teaser shot on the associated home page.

It's the top banner, on the lefthand side. To me, that looks like it may be a lexan body.

Hmm, could be onto something there Charlie. Now the big question will be, if AE really is releasing a CORR style rig (I'm sure they are), whose will be better in the end? Right now, my vote would be for Traxxas. I'm also wondering if HPI is gonna jump in also with a new rig.

Have you ever compared the the Associated RC10 or T4 to the Traxxas Rustler or Stampede? The answer should be easy.

If it's 4wd then it would be interesting!

Actually I havent. The only rig i own at this moment is the AE GT2 RTR, at least until my savage 25 gets here on Monday or Tuesday. Wish I would have payed better attention when I was a kid, I'd probably be in allot better shape today, lol.

CharliesTheMan - I too have been watching the Associated website and others closely, waiting for more information than just that image. I've got an itch to get the Traxxas Slash because I like the scale looks. Reminds me of my Tamiya S-10. However I really want 4WD, had Traxxas released it with 4WD I would have already owned one now. With Associated getting into the game I'm holding up until I know what it's going to offer.

griemar - The point is comparing an Associated T4 to a Traxxas Rustler would be like comparing a Cadillac CTS to a Ford Pinto, there is no comparison. The T4 is a much more superior R/C.

Ahhh, so me getting a AE rig wasn't such a bad idea then after all. That just proves it even further that my driving really does suck, lol. Thanks Woodie.

Don't worry bro, you're not alone in the crapping driving skills category. I can barely hit a ramp with my Revo if it's got any kind of speed behind it.

Your not alone..I spent a ton of money trying to compensate for my lousy driving.

With you having a GT2, you would notice a very big difference if you ever drove a Rustler!
