Arrma Mojave shuts down.

Took the 4s Mojave to the beach yesterday. First run ever. Brand new Spektrum Smart tech 5000mAh 50c 4s lipo. Ran for about 4 minutes and went into a " limp mode. Then stopped with the ESC beeping. Let it sit as I thought it got hot. Reset the ESC and it ran a couple more minutes. Same thing. Third time it ran for 20 seconds. Same thing. It's all brand new. Any ideas?

Does it cut out when you punch the throttle hard? Try to go into the esc settings and disable LVC / voltage cut off. Try it again. If it works and it runs for over 4 minutes, trashy spektrum batteries is the issue.

Sand pulls too many amps. Overloading it. Thermal protection mode or full failure. Sand draws 40% more amps than regular bashing at least. So gearing and upgrading electronics is usually what it takes to Sand bash.

Although battery health and quality is still a good thing to check for.
