How about the Electric Slash? We purchased one so far and its kinda cool. I like the way it moves with the curves of the track has a little more realistic feel to it I guess. So far it has been a great truck we have had it for a month now. Any body else running these yet?:\

There are many people with the Slash here. Do a search and you can see what others have done with their rigs.

There is a big Slash fan-club here! I love mine and am looking forward to a brushless conversion after the 1st of the year... You will hear from Alpine sooner or later--he has one insanely fast Slash.

love my slash! I too will be looking to go brushless soon when needed I will upgrade to RPM a-arms and some aluminum parts from ST Racing

I have already beat the hell out of the truck and it has held up pretty darn well.

Yes, I too have punished my Slash so much that I wonder what is broken but hasn't surfaced yet. It has hit concrete shoulders in parking lots with the throttle wide open, I don't know how many times. It's an amazing truck for the price, toughness and performance. Congrats! :first_place:

Ok Sorry Looks like I posted this in the wrong area of this forum. I guess I should have looked around a bit more. Yall have some cool ideas going on here.

Been working the LSU game all day, first time on today. The slash is amazing, i got some beadlocks, a castle creations 5700 brushless motor, mamba max ESC, 5400 3s lipo, and FIRE! 60mph runs, until the motor caught on fire.

I got the stocker back in it for the time being, waiting for the BL to come back from castle. Probably gona pick up a velinion motor to run the 3s with.

I was told That Team Associate has a version of the Slash now almost same body type but its a Nitro. I guess that proves that when you build a great idea everybody will copy it. My wife and I love this Slash we are trying to buy another one soon.

I'm not up on all the hopup parts yet but I would like to start getting into the lipo area with my electrics soon. What are some good first upgrades for the Slash?

mamba max and 4600 kv or 5700 kv motor.

the TA turck (SC3?) is ok but over prices, though it does look good. the thundertech racing unit looks pretty trick too, but I'm not overly fond of the overall body looks, but that could be changed.

i have a mm/5700 for mine and a 5000mah 3s 25c lipo for it. lol should be froggy.

thinking of buying a slayer and doing the teckno bl conversion on it
