Well today I was going to start up my old Nitro RS4 and see how it was running, tonight I'm making a run to the hobby store so I'm getting an idea of what I need.

The problem is.. I can't even get the thing running..

Last night I cleaned everything up, gas tank and cleaned all cleared fuel lines out, Now when i go to prime the carb no fuel is coming through the line and pressing more makes no difference at all.

What do you think this could be??

Thanks

If you left fuel in them they can get gummed up. Try clearing them out and blowing though it.

What I do is to submerge the better part of it into a bowl and then blow through it. If there are bubbles coming from anywhere else then the end, then reaplce it. Its cheap enough to do that.

Ok

Ok I think I made some progress, The tubes seem to be fine, it wasn't working because the adjustment on my carb was down too tight, so now the fuel is going into the carb.

The thing still wont start. Glowplug in, A little throttle and pullstart correct? It doesn't seem to be working.

What engine? Have you checked the clow plug? Does it glow nice and bright?

Its a 15fe engine ( upgrading soon )

The glowplug is pretty bright, the first coil near the bottom doesn't glow though. And is white when its not running.

Could it be that first coil?

I would say no but If you left fuel in the engine, I would just reaplce it. SInce it is the FE I would check your HSN to make sure that is set right.

Yep I'm going to replace it and see if that helps it. Its not very bright.. Ill post results later.

The new spark plug fired it up on the first try! Its running now! I need help tuning it though so I have to read up on that.

good for you. That engine is a a single needle carb so you need to worry about the HSN and the Idle only.
