That battery terminal puller made quick work of that.

If ya do mangle the starter pulley/flywheel-the good news is they’re only $9…
Yeah I saw a few on eBay.

I tried the nut but didn't use any heat.

I picked up a battery terminal puller as that was what someone had suggest to use as a flywheel puller for a normal flywheel. Gonna test it here in a minute.

Not a set screw hole, looks like it had some material removed there to balance it out.
Oh, well good luck. Hope that terminal puller does the trick. I wonder if this would be able to get a bite behind it🤔

I wasn’t thinking so.. I wanna say there wouldn’t have been enough of the starter pulley/flywheel to get behind. Not being adjustable-I didn’t wanna tell him to go buy a $25 tool and have it not fit the part, or the motor…😅

First time I've heard of a boat getting a nose job. Are you going to use one of the surgeons that the celebrities use? 😜

Are you still thinking fiberglass, or are you just going to putty it with something like Bondo?

It is only the gel coat that is damaged so yeah just some glazing putty, then sand, prime and paint.

I did find a spot on the hatch where it looks like someone repaired it once before.

Maybe we should hang out and not make progress together. 😜 my project seems to running on the same schedule.

I made regress 🤔. I learned the hard way not to leave tape on fresh paint for a year.......................

So sanded back down yet again..............................

And it seems like no matter what I do something always gets in the damn paint.......................

Obviously you should have used texture paint, then these problems don't show! 😜 sometimes you just can't win, I've had a few projects go this way.
