Q-time is the bomb, aint it.

I think it's some kind of kinetic missile that's under development. I think I read that it's doing something like mach 5 when it hits. It's not a hellfire though, too big, and has alot farther range. i'll try to find some more.

I used to shoot prairiedogs all the time heh I actualy used to use them to see how accurate my deer rifle was. One year a friend of mine was moving and gave me his pet dog.
He had a cage but never used it. He was litter trained. Barked when I called his name, sat on my shoulder and ate peanuts. He also in the middle of the night would leave his cage, climb up my comforter and sneak inside my pillow case right behind my ears and sleep lol.

Someone left the door open one summer and poof! he was gone. So three years ago

For my b-day my wife got me another ;) I love the little guy he does the same stuff and the kids love him. It's scary when he starts chasing my friends he doesn't know around the house tho. Them suckers have some teeth!

NO! I'm not a bleeding heart, everyone who comes over says "hey I used to shoot them guys" hehe just thought I would post a pic of him.

Talk about a a De-railed thread sorry guys...had to share.. now back to 50MM target practice. BTW killer missle I did the frame by frame thing that things fast. I am wondering how far away the launch was from the target

lykan,

I remember seeing your pic in another thread. I shoot jackrabbits and ground squirels with my 222 Rem for fun, and I would shoot p-dogs too if we had them, but I like the idea of one for a pet. Isn't there a website where you can buy them?

Their sure is My wife ordered mine from texas. It's illegal for us to purchase any animal that can be caught inside the state of washington. I can own a Texas prarie dog, but not a washington one lol. I'll ask my wife to dig up a link. So you can see where to order them and what they cost

They make awesome pets they are a colony animal so if you get them as pups they bond to you and your entire family it's pretty cool

I should I post all this in a new thread.. I really like this one and really don't wanna de-rail it.

Here's some more pics of Rikki.

The official 50mm missle bunny shooting prarie dog pet thread lol!

It's off topic and ok, You should see what I've done to few threads. Besides, I like pets. I wake up each morning with my dachshund staring at me or licking my face.
Ok, who's got the next video?

Run Rikki Run! lol

I too am interested in any more military videos anything like the ones above ;)

They are cute, and I have wanted one since I saw lykans pic a couple weeks ago. I did a search on praire dog pets, and apparently they were banned for sale last year. They were carrying some monkey virus. All the pages that were advertising them are off line now.

lykan: I got no problem with pets. It's the rogues that mess up my beef supply that I have a beef with.

Here's another one, anti tank missile test. Not sure what it is, probably a TOW missile. --edit-- Found out it's a British Javelin AT missile.

Another missile test.

I love the mushroom cloud effect.

DU is evil and our government is wrong for testing it on us, and selling our toxic waste to other countries as weapons. DU is worse then lead and gets into water supplies and cause a barage of birth defects and illness. Don't even get me started on DU it is bad and something our public doesn't know much about and good old Uncle Sam wants it that way.

 I like the 'pornographic' comment! I'm a junkie!

I can hear NA screaming at me now..........

Hey Humbo - no doubt about the DU - keep in mind though, everyone in the military using them knows what the deal is. I clearly knew the risk and so do many. Dont get me wrong, what happened the first time around in the Gulf was BAD! VERY BAD! So bad that it has been since covered up. However, it certainly wasn't with intent on the governments part. Let me repeat that, wasn't with INTENT. But it was certainly done with people in the know of the inherent possible risks. I honestly just dont think anyone knew how severe it could be. Without DU however, making gravy out of Enemy Armor wouldnt be a walk in the park. Unless you know of something harder and more formable that will pierce the armor on a tank and so on. For now, we assess and take the risk. More cautiously than ever might I add.

So wheres some more of this war porn?!?!?! I need to compile a DVD of it just to keep going on my laptop all day for motivational purposes.

For anyone who was watching the news this weekend, there was a pretty bad bombing in Baghdad on Sunday. An SUV loaded up with 1,000 lbs of explosive went up at Assassins Gate. For my buddy over there, that place is called MOAC. Since the incident, we have not heard from him. From what we have heard and read, there were only injury to U.S. troops and no casualties, but trying to get a name is impossible. I just hope we hear from him soon. He is on Guard Post there. So yes, he was at the gate. His name to us is Taco. I just hope he still has all his meat and cheese intact!

depleted uranium
The alpha radiation that du gives off does not penetrate the outer layers of the skin. It's a health hazard when inhaled or embedded under the skin i.e. via an explosion from flying debris and dust.

No metal found to have the same penetrating characteristics per the DOD.

Agreed, depleted uranium is very nasty stuff but, ... nothing to compares to it when making slurry out of armor plate.

It's very tempting to link this to anohter thread:no_commen
