They had something like it in Okinawa. It was Habu Saki. It was a bottle of Saki with same as above; a dead snake in the bottom. I never drank it, I though it stunk. Hell I am not fond of regular saki let alone with a pit viper fermenting in the bottom.

it is Vietnamese snake wine. normally rice or grain alcohol. The snake is put in there, and the "essence" as well as the venom is disolved in with the alcohol. The venom is denatured by the alcohol and is harmless. Yes that is a real cobra, with a vine snake in his mouth.

Yeah I have seen the same stuff in Thailand and passed then too. Anymore if I drink it is to enjoy it and then it is not to get drunk. I got tired of puking and headaches. That I wpuld have to be drunk already to drink. Damn I am boring these days lol.

Sounds similar to Mezcal and the worm, Beason.
Its real stuff, I have been to a local forgien market with all sorts of wierd sh!t in there wines and "tonics" or what have ya. But yes you can drink it, but I would have to be drunk beyond coherant to drink that...
