I've been eyeballing it for a couple weeks now. Half the batteries of my current setup, and I'm pretty sure I can use the receiver that's already in my Baja, which means I could use the spare receiver for my Pede, and control the only two RC's I still drive with it. Looks pretty sweet to me. All for $129!

My DX3S has range issues. I even wired in a 5th cell to bring the NiMH voltage up to 6V which added another 25 feet of range for a grand total of 100 feet roughly.

It's now in a drawer and I'm back using my DX3.0. The only reason I bought the DX3S was because I had 5 trucks, the DX3.0 only supports 4.

I'm guessing mine just has issues. However, found a lot of info online about many others having range issues... Considering the price of the new one though, might be worth trying.

I had a DX2.0 and had terrible range issues. About 100ft was all I could get, and even if it went over a very small hill it would lose range also. I'm glad I made the switch to Futaba. Now I never have enough room to lose signal!
