I guess you're talking about a extendable antennae out of the controller right?

I wouldn't bother honestly if that's the case and just a get new tx/rx receiver combo you would be better off.

as long as you have a futaba plug 3 wire with Positive in center and negative as outside and frequency the other outside your fine. to use any other radio and receiver …. thats -+~..
