Anyone Know about the old novak t-4 ESC

Hey guys.. lots of questions tonight I'm playing with an old unidentified buggy. It has the novak t-4 esc Has a neutral POT, and a speed POT.

I hear there are mods you can do to these esc's and I am also wondering if any of you know how to set it up? How to make it run better... or if any even remember any of the old mods?

I searched google and didn't find much help thanks..
