Hey I was wondering if anyone here knows how to breakdance? like in the movie you got served..? I want to learn how to.. it be pritty cool being able to spin around and do crazy stuff like that... if anyone does how long did it take you to learn..? and did you take lessons or just do it on yourown..?

Anyone over the age of 28 most likely breakdanced, they wore parachute pants as well. Adding to that they probably owned a ghetto blaster too.

Getting them to admit that on the internet, or better yet in public is just well... Probably not going to happen.

I am 32 I never breakdanced, never owned a ghetto blaster, and never wore parachute pants. Just like my parent never wore cordoroy bell bottoms.

I am over 28 and never breakdanced. No go on the pants as well. Levis only and a white t-shirt was the norm. I did however, own a ghetto blaster. But it only played AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Def Leppard and Quiet Riot.

Bang your head.......

I brake dance in the morning. I usually check the forum and have a cup of coffey first thing. Ill keep posting till I feel the need then hang for a few more minutes. Then I start the dance all the way down the hall. I get grooving about the time I see the door is closed and someone else is in there. I pull some interesting moves all the way down the hall and flip and spin down the stairs to the other hall way. Over the years I have invented a few moves of my own.

lol, you guys are funny

Breakdancing is actually pretty tight if you have someone who knows what they're doing. I personally can't do it, but i'm sure if someone showed me how..I could

We used to have assemblies at my high school and every year they'd have the breakers do a little routine. It was tight when you had three people doing windmills (i think that's what they call them) all at once. It was probably the best thing about HS.

I always thought the best thing about HS was the girls. They were also tight.

LMFAO, The peoples next door were always tryin to spin on their head or some poop so yeah I tried to break dance a little. I wanted parachute pants damnit but never had them. I wanted as many frickin zippers and pockets on my pants as I could have. I wore a bunch of bugle boy pants that had a poop load of pockets and what not. I dunno it was fun. LMAO I had a ghetto blaster too carried it around on my shoulder like I was cool. God what things we do to be cool.

That's a BOLD statement. I never break danced nor wore parachute pants but I did own a ghetto blaster.

I think 28 is a little young to remember the break dancing craze. I am 38 and it was huge around my town. If you could break dance in a club you were the envoy of the ones who could not.

Man I have some pics of how I used to look when going to clubs in NYC. dammm I want shoot myself now LOL.....

Then I was into the long hair down to my ass phase in the 90's LOL...... Ok for the old timers here....30 and older lets post some pics of us back in the day LOL... I dare ya! I double Dare ya!

ImBroken showed us a old photo of himself when were at the Winter Bash. All I can say is WOW.

Let me tell you when I was a kid all we wanted to do was break dance. Now I am 30, I am 6 '1 and weigh about 395 and my wife gets pissed off every time I get a wild hair up my ass and think I am 12 again trying to break dance somthing always gets broke or someone get hurt. Lets leave that one in the past.

Mullet cuts, bell bottoms, huge collars, and waffle stompers.
I'm hopping those photos never made it through the flood of 82. :ninja:

I can honestly say brake dancing was never on our agenda while sitting in the basement in an altered state listing to the Who, Boston and Fleetwood. We may have fell over a time or two but thats as close as we ever got.
