Anyone ever built a stampede kit?

I had the chance to build one about 10 years ago or so. I kinda wish they still made them in kit form. I remember back then I put a kyosho 12 turn triple wind motor and a novak super rooster reversible esc. It was pretty quick...


I was bored, i'm looking to put together a stampede and i googled stampede kit, found a thread from 2004 when some dude bought the last one on the shelf lol it was new old stock in 04. had to be around 98 or 99 when I built mine.

Built a lot of other kits and i preffer kits over RTR. I don't like e bay but I'm sure if you look hard enough someone out there has one on the shelf collecting dust.Just for the hell of it try that one web site rc scrapyard theres a lot of older stuff on there.

I enjoy building the kits, too. The only newer nitro kits that I know about are the HPI Savage XL SS.
