does anybody know anybody that has one of these, man they look wicked!! a little up in price though!!

Don't know anyone that has one, but they handle worse than the slash, which is a feat in itself. They are very realistic though.

Here is a link to their site.

Looks like a fun basher, but you'll get stomped by any other truck it the sc market.

If you look on their site they have a chassis kit for the slash. A little off topic, but it's a great kit. I've driven a few of them and it makes the slash an entirely different (and much improved) truck. Saves a lot of weight too.

4 link setup is groovy and love the solid rear axle concept but as far as durability I think the slash would win hands down.

when I click on that link to thunder-tech I get this:eek:

whatever that means?:confused::confused:

Clearly the Thundertech site is having an issue.

I have removed the links from the posts above.

I just wanted people to know there was an issues with that site.. not that everyone comp was compromised;) sorry if I cause any problems:(

Sorry if anyone had problems with the site. I know the owner of the company personally and have notified him about the situation. I would expect it to be resolved very soon.

more info on the web site ....thundertechracing.com....i have seen these on youtube can you say ...it just rolls over around ever corner...very sale representation of a sct....for the money .i dont know ..maybe i can find a used one...

I still think they are very cool looking rigs, but there are very pricey..it the price was a wee bit lower I would buy 1:)

oh WOW, just scoped out photos of this thing, and all I gotta say is; REALISTIC!

Only "SC" truck out there that I've seen anywhere near this realistic and as close to 1:1 as this!
I mean, a real 4-link rear end with solid axle, near center front a-arms! Even those "prowler" tires are the same as Mickey Thompson MTZ's and the beadlock wheels are nice replicas of Walker Evans!
These are all things I only WISH I could afford for my real truck, haha! If I could cage the bed and 4-link it it would be ultimate.
Nice option of '03-'07 Chevy "mean-eyes" grill and headlights too, coming from a big GM truck fan (I have a Sierra that I've been trying to turn into a prerunner).

Now as far as actual "RC racing" is concerned, nah, I wouldn't put my money on this breaking any lap time records compared to the ultra-low-CG SC10's and Blitz's and now 4WD Ofna's...
But as far as realism and replication goes, this ThunderTech Short Course Pro-2 absolutely blows me away! I mean seriously, how many of you have seen a scale driver and cockpit in any of the trucks out there racing laps these days?

I just got one....:thumbup1: a used one but it comes with tons of stuff...I got a great deal on it so I could not pas it up...;)

Post up some photos! I still really dig how these look, although they apparantly don't drive all that well. Would love to check one out in person...
