Gongrats Pee Wee....I've never been Turkey hunting before and wanted to go this year (season started the 15th) but work schedule wont allow. What kind of shotgun and what kind of load?? PICS, PICS...I don't c anywhere in the RCNT rules where it states that you can't post pics of dead gobblers. Most people that go Turkey hunting don't come back with anything.

Back in the day the president wanted the National bird to be the Wild turkey instead of the Bald Eagle. They're very intellignet and have eyesight comporable to a Bald Eagle.

I'll get you a recipe this week from my uncle the big hunter.

I hunt dove,squirl and rabbit. RS43Drifter shot a deer off his back purch with a .22 and killed it, mainly because he unloaded a entire clip.

Damnit Wasteland....are you even old enough to buy a Rifle..hehe.

As for .22lr killing a Squirrl....the vast majority of Varmint hunters in this country use .22lr. You don't have to empty an entire MAGAZINE to killl a Squirrl....good HP's and good shots.

Hey 30% I used a remington 870 12ga. magnum with 3" magnum shells packed with 2oz of #4 shot. At 20 yards he dropped on the spot. Until I got close to him then he tryed to get up, not easy when I'm standing on his neck lol. As the pics go I don't own a digatal camera, sorry.

Alabama state law. You have to be a certin age to buy a gun and a certin age to buy ammo. There is NO age limit to carry a rifle or shotgun(hang guns dont count). That mena I cna legally carry a AK-47 in my truck as long as its unload with ammo in a diffrent location(glovebox) a friend of mine actually done this to prove he could. Anyway I'm glad its like this care my 12g is comgin with me this saturday ont he camping trip, I'll be damn if they random dogs attack us.

Smoke it in a smoker, the best tyasting stuff you'll evere eat.

If not get a turkey fryer, deep fry it in 15-25 minutes. Again one of the best turlkey I ever had was fryed in oil in a big huge fryer overe a propane burner. It seals all the moisture inside.

A friend of mine brought me some elk one day after he had smoked it, or maybe it was grilled either way it was alot better than steak. This guy couldnt grill worth a damn and stil it was better than steak.

it wasent a full clip i was nervous and only could load about 4 rounds in the clip lol the first shot made the deer do a back flip and i was like damn this is just a 22 lol i hit it in the heart and the left lung 2 good shots
