I'm currently building a Tmaxx with a dynamite BB conversion kit. the problem is the output shaft on the tranny rubs on the servo mount.

Anybody else with this kit have this problem? And I can't move the servo to the front because there arent any holes for a linkage post. any ideas on what I should do?

You may need the newer style tranny. I beleive the input shaft/slipper assembly is shorter. Let some others chime in to verify. That's frustrating, man.

there are holes in the front already, I think i may have an idea on how i can set it up, saw a pic in the tmaxx picture thread that has the linkage post where the servo is now... and there is NO WAY i am getting the 3.3 tranny, this is already (mosty) packed with Robinson Racing gears. lol, not cheap.

Well, it doesn't appear to be "rubbing" but with the nut/spring on there it might. If it were me, I'd just dremel a bit off the servo ear to have enough clearance. Or, I'd drill 4 new holes a bit further from center and move the servo closer to the edge.

I had an XTM conversion, but a buddy of mine had the dynamite version. Wish I could recall how his was setup... that was 7+ years ago.

it actually rubs on the servo, you can't really tell in the pic, and the spur hits the linkage. i saw a pic that Lessen posted that showed a setup that i think might work. ahh, this sucks, oh well, it will be worth it in the end(hopefully)
