Any DHK Hunter Owners?

I have several DHK vehicles, including 2 Hunter's. The Hunter's are my goto hard bashing vehicles. I only run mine on 2S and 3S, but, even on 3S, they can take a beating.

I have even tweaked mine for racing and man, does it handle nicely. Well once I swapped the stock tires.

Depending on how I'm running it, i either run Duratrax Six-Pack or Sidearm SC or Duratrax Six-Pack MT tires and wheels. You can usually get them on Amazon or eBay for less than $40 a pair. Even the online hobby shops carry them cheap. I dont know about in store, because i dont have a shop near me, so i do everything online. Another option i use are Arrma Senton SCT or Vorteks MT tires and wheels from Jenny's RC. As for diffs, mine are just stock DHK diffs.

UDR wheels and tires would be way to big, since the UDR is 1/7TH scale. On top of that, you would need a bunch of parts to fit the wheels, since the UDR also uses a larger hub. Your best bet is to stick with 1/10TH scale MT, or SCT, or, if you want to swap to DHK 17MM hubs, 1/8TH scale MT, SCT or buggy wheels.

As long as they are 1/10TH scale with a 12MM hex they will. Are you looking to race or just bash around with it?

I’m trying to make my car have more traction I usually run it on street because how fast it goes but occasionally I will take it to a track but usually steer stuff

Offroad tires dont get much traction on the street. For that, you need street tires, or speed run tires. Arrma Hoons, or something similar work good for street use.
