It won't sell because of your price. For selling, most people only see a new price is $$ and your price is $$. It doesn't matter that you have a lot of upgrades and this especially true in the hobby world. Your best bet IMO is to part it out if you want the most money from it.

And if you go this route, your list looks decent to me.

For a slash ultimate, it cost 540 bucks at the lhs. for 520 why not get a used truck that is decked out. Looks like i will keep it and start a built thread on it because its getting upgraded!

Slash 4x4 Build #2

Because the first build wasn't cool enough.

Mamba MONSTER ESC
Caslte 2200kv motor 1515

Now the esc comes 2 diff ways i think first way is hooking up only 1 battery, and then secound way is like the e-maxx and you can hook up 2 batteries. Which way is best for the slash?

One time did I sell a decked out rig. It was a highly optioned Xray M18 in excellent condition with many optional tuning parts. If I recall correctly I sold it for $320 cash locally. Considering it was in very good condition I originally priced it at approx. 50% of the new cost of all componentry. I believe I had around $750 in it with all options. If it were in less than great condition I would have priced it even lower. I felt that was quite fair for both the buyer and myself. It's a hit you just have to take if you want to offload something. I just recently bought a mint condition JRX-S type R roller for $175 shipped. The car came with a bunch of NIP optional parts as well valued at approx. $100 new. Before it was discontinued this car went for $320. I basically got $400 worth of brand new gear for 56%+ off retail.

I guess what goes around comes around but it tells me that 50% off retail for retail condition is a good standard to go by.

Tear it apart and sell the pieces, you might end up with a decent amount of cash for your time. Either way, a vxl system is enough to make a slash go like hell.

Back to this being a BUILD thread, Comments or recomeneded parts would be very helpfull.

I posted a pic on the short course part of the forum you tard!

^^ I am pretty for certain that he wants pics in the "build thread" or just every thread you start on the side of your build thread & not have to hunt for your pictures or what have ya^^

2200kv or 2650

What would i be looking at if i got the 2650kv, I like the idea of using a 3cell lipo to be cheaper, or is it worth getting the 2200kv and use a 4 or 6 cell lipo?

Going in a slash 4x4

I just want insane power, so if the 2650 will give it to me on 3 cell then thats what i will go with if not and i need the 2200kv then that will work.

Keep in mind i only have room for 1 battery but its enough room for a single 6cell.

Why dont you post all of these questions in your build thread instead of making tiny little threads for every little thing you want to know?
