Hi, another question. I am now trying to figure out the TSM. If the multifunction knob is turned all the way down everything is good. As soon as it is turned up the truck keep pulling to the side. Same as my original issue, the wheels turn and it just wants to go in circles until corrected via steering. Any ideas? Do I really need the TSM? As a newbie, I guess it will help.

Traxxas Stability Management is supposed to assist you with controlling the vehicle. The higher the setting the more sensitive the Receiver is in the vehicle to being bounced around.

The idea is to help keep the vehicle controllable in what would normally be challenging situations.

It may be possible to set the Multi Function Knob to something else, which is why you're seeing the change that you do.

Personally, as Ferrebee said, I would learn to drive with it off.

I have an original Traxxas rally, the wide body. It has TSM and its great on the paved road course I run it on. The trick is starting with TSM turned all the way off, to the left. Then, a little at a time, increase it. Knob turned to the right. You will notice an increase in control. If you go too far, the car will constantly over correct itself. Remember, TSM is not an on or off switch. Experiment with it. It works awesome for top speed runs with my Arrma Vendetta. A true 70mph with the speed pinion included and a 3cell lipo of at least 5000mah.

I am learning with TSM off, but it is really bothering me that the second it is turned on the truck just wants to do circles. Id love to kmow what the issue is with the tsm. I probably wont use it, but there is still somthing wrong.

If you are still having issues, I would give Traxxas Tech Support a call. They have amazing customer service and a great warranty on new rigs. If there is a problem, they will help you fix it. If it is faulty, they will replace it.

That circles thing does sound odd though — shouldn't be causing that if it's working right. Could be a calibration issue or something faulty. Traxxas support would be worth a call if you wanna figure out what's actually going on.

TsM should not turn all the way one way. So turn the TSM down and adjust the steering trim. If the servo horn is stripped it can do that.
