See man I told you so! Congrats on the truck. The 5.9 dan be pain in the butt once you get tired if screwing with it put an LRP .30 or .32 on it. Then it becomes insane. I told that was a hell of deal and you wouldn't regret it. I'm guessing you'll be unlaoding that Revo and all your Traxxas psrts.

Well not unloading the traxxas stff just yet but it will surely be collecting a little more dust on the shelf.

Only problem with the XL so far is these craptastic wheel nuts. I can't believe there is not a decent hex option like the traxxas setup for this truck. I have already lost a wheel twice even when using loctite and torquing the crap out of the nuts (atleast as much torque as you can put on a 5mm nut). That problem led to my second problem .... my LHS has 0 parts support for any savage much less an XL. So i am now waiting 4 days for a $2 wheel nut :(

So the traxxas stuff will be run only while I am waiting for parts to get here for my savage :)

The 5.9 is actually a pretty decent mill in the XL atleast for what I am doing. It was running hot so I switched to 30% fuel with a pretty low oil content at 9% and used a McCoys mc-8 plug and it made a world of difference. It now has gobs of power with temps staying in the 280 range.
