Yes, you're weird but NO, you're not alone....unless you were wearing pants!!!

Only weird people wear pants while waxing their RCs, right @Rolex?

reason i ask is that looks verrrrrrry clean like mine

Actually I like a little dirt on my rigs It gives them character which I don't mind. Somehow I feel the wrath of Rolex coming on. Lol.

i like mine super clean no dirt or anything on mine but also i run only onroad cars i bet if i likes trucks id probably have a mud pile on mine

Clean rig? Hmmmmm....

HELL NO, especially while I'm running it, I can't allow it to remain clean!!

After running when its time to put it up on the shelf until the next outting with it, oh yeah gotta keep it as clean as qtips, rags and aclohol or nitro can get it!

I keep mine pretty clean after each use but I use them almost every day. My wife also asked me, "What happened to the cool guy I married? Now your an rc nerd! :hehe:

Haha I get this from my wife as well and some friends, that is until they tried it. Too bad they're too cheap to pull the trigger and buy one though.

Lol my wife tells me I play with my toys too much... And I say well yeah, so do you haha :hehe: some will get that!

My wife also makes me put my rig next to the muddy boot spot by the door until it dries out, then while shes busy I spray it off clean in the kitchen sink! She dun like that very much....

This might be the funniest thing I've ever read on any forum. Greatness!

Spyke, you are doing right by tearing it down to clean. I'll do like a basic wash after every run. After ever race and/or gallon we'll tear it 100% apart. Clean for performance though. Yes, we all like them to look nice but the idea is to keep the crap off so the drive-train/suspension are smooth.

For metal parts I use Dynamite Magnum Force 2. TrakPower (SpeedWash and Detailer). I also like Kalguard Degreaser and Prep-n-shine.

Not really sure if waxing Lexan does anything (I might try it) usually just squirt it with Invisible glass and wipe off. Dude, just don't do anything foolish like armor-all your tires. I will admit I did that back in the day---ugh. There was a big sign over my head with a flashing arrow pointing down saying 'Dumb-a$$' as I drove it--or tried to;-)

lol ya i may try the armor all on my drift wheels if it makes it even slippyer may make my tires last longer lol here ill post pics of my rig she is clean can't get much cleaner other than brand new

but with the lexan body i use windex to clean it then i wax it yes waxing it make it smoother and like a real car a rag will just slide right across it and you can see your self in in almost like a mirror lol (better than non waxed lexan)
