Are there any performance benefits by adding aluminum parts over the plastic ones that come with a kit. Sorry if this is a dumb question..I have the NTC3

i wonder the same question maybe the aluminum ones are more durable but still light?

Much of it is eye candy but can be for strength. However many times the aluminum causes other parts to be subject to higher stresses because the metal doesn't flex. Aluminum also tends to weigh a tad more than plastic which will bend somewhat before it breaks, and is lighter to boot.
My 2 cents.

It looks good i will tell you that but if those parts are alluminum then you pretty much have to have the whole car. The reasons being is that the parts that you dont have allumimum all weak and they will break instead of the parts that you got alluminum in the first place. But it is up to you....Nick
