+1 It takes a long tome to swap out bulks...... takes a second to break em ( especialy in cold weather) Go w aluminum.

I bought the cheapest ones i could find on ebay ( chinese $50 for 4 of em) still holding up fine. I am a basher, meaning 20 foot high jumps ect.

you did a 20ft jump with ur maxx and didnt break anything? thats crazy yo!!!!

I have done it a LOT. I have the 4909 w a 3.3 engine.

chinese alumininum bulks, chinese aluminum shock towers, chinese aluminum skid plates, nice metal drive shafts (came w the used tmaxx) and a roll cage that mounts to the bumper mounts not the bulks..

I have RPM control arms ready to go on...... once i break my 3rd set of traxxas ones.

I dont wanna jinks it...... but she is pretty bulletproof now.

I also have the blue WAY TO STIFF shock springs.
